Getting started
Open Atlas Memoir and choose Discover My Journey. Grant access to photos with location metadata. The first scan may take a little time for larger libraries, and processing stays on your device.
Why is a city missing?
Atlas Memoir can only map photos that contain usable location and date metadata. Check that location access was enabled when the photo was captured and that Atlas Memoir has access to the relevant photos.
Why are nearby districts grouped together?
Nearby photo locations are clustered first, then matched to a recognized city. Administrative districts and neighborhoods are normalized into their parent city where geographic data supports it.
Reset or rescan
You can reset the generated journey from the profile and privacy area in the app. This removes Atlas Memoir's local analysis and lets you start a new scan; it never deletes photos from Apple Photos.
